WMU Signature is a program created to encourage all students to complete a culminating integrative learning project. A Signature Experiences is tangible experience students initiate where they apply what they have learned in and out of the classroom to real-world problems. Each student’s Signature Experience is unique to them and related to their purpose, denoted by their chosen pathway. Research has shown employers are looking for future employees who have completed these types of experiences. All Western students have the opportunity to complete a Signature Experience and be recognized by the University.

• Ideated a beg/introductory online Escape Room event equipped with Python-related multiple-choice questions, debugging problems, and solution implementation rounds to quiz attendees on their Python fundamentals
• Developed and led the Building Python Projects for a Resume Booster workshop series (~5 parts) with a focus on building a project on GCP
• Collaborated with small-sized teams to facilitate and moderate the events hosted under the chapter

• Designed the architecture and algorithm of a custom security automation tool to detect critical vulnerabilities that affect the company's assets based on vulnerability reports
• Integrated the team’s security orchestration tools as loosely coupled components into existing infrastructure to be triggered by either a CRON job or by an endpoint
• Improved the threat detection process of zero-day vulnerabilities by reducing noise and verifying its eligibility (cryptographic hash, queue priority, and SLA dates) that reduced the notification process from 24 hours to 10 seconds
• Contributed to the uplifting of the vulnerability management program by participating in code reviews, technical documentation updating, and continuous supervision of threat detection tools

Participated as a speaker in a roundtable discussion focusing on the topic of being an international student in the US with an emphasis on our career pathway.

📆 HackDuke 2021: Code for Good

• Developed the cloud architecture of a web app to encourage users to practice mindfulness via daily journaling
• Enhanced the performance of the app by establishing the continuous deployment pipeline and incorporating a monitoring dashboard equipped with notification features

📆 CS4541 Computer Systems Fundamentals

Program that counts the number of words in a file. This is similar to the common Linux tool wc (word count). The only difference is that it will output the words and their associated counts (for words that appear twice or more times in the source text).
