Flutter app to display all important links of the Google Developers Student Club of Western Michigan University

In January 2023, we (the Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) at Western Michigan University) had the opportunity to collaborate with Google Developer Expert (GDE) Roman Jaquez for the First Flight with Flutter workshop. Our goal was to introduce attendees to Flutter, a popular framework for building beautiful, natively compiled applications for mobile, web, and desktop from a single codebase.
As part of the workshop, we designed and built an app that serves as a showcase of important links related to GDSC WMU. This app is a practical example of a Flutter project that participants can build by following the workshop. It demonstrates how to develop a simple yet functional app while learning key concepts in mobile development.
The app's key feature is displaying all important links for GDSC WMU, giving students a centralized place to access event details, resources, and other relevant information. It was a rewarding experience to work alongside Roman and contribute to this educational initiative, helping others to take their first steps in mobile app development using Flutter.
