Automation tool to streamline the membership onboarding process of the Google Developers Student Club of Western Michigan University
To streamline the membership onboarding process for GDSC WMU, I developed an internal automation app hosted on Microsoft Azure. The app was designed to integrate with the Google Developers platform, automatically sending invitations to new members who requested to join. Using a tech stack that included Python, Selenium API, Microsoft Graph API, and Power Automate, I ensured that this process was fully automated and efficient.
The main goal of this system was to eliminate the need for manual tracking and ensure that all new members were seamlessly added to the ExperienceWMU platform, where the university officially tracks membership participation. This automation greatly simplified the onboarding process, allowing the team to focus more on engagement and less on administrative tasks.
