Organized a 6-week program, collaborating with GDG Lawrence to prepare participants for Google Cloud's Associate Cloud Engineer exam
As an organizer for the Google Developer Groups Cloud of Twin Cities, I led the efforts to host a 6-week Certification Study Groups program in collaboration with GDG Lawrence.
Some of the tasks carried out were preparing technical content and assets, focusing on delivering a session on Ensuring the Successful Operation of a Cloud Solution. More specifically, my session covered:
Managing Compute Engine resources
Managing Google Kubernetes Engine resources
Managing App Engine and Cloud Run resources
Managing storage and database solutions
Managing networking resources
Monitoring and logging
Other key responsibilities were to ensure that the session ran seamlessly, which included
Audience Engagement: Moderating live chats and actively interacting with participants via our communication platform to foster a collaborative atmosphere
Asset Creation: Designing marketing materials such as posters and preparing technical content for use during sessions to enhance clarity and outreach
Collaboration: Coordinating efforts with partners to maintain alignment and ensure the project progressed as planned
